Your BP Nutrients™ is a natural, milk-protein-derived substance with beneficial effects for helping to maintain healthy blood pressure. IPP Tripeptide works by modifying the body's ACE (angiotensin-converting enzyme) activity. The conversion of the body's levels of angiotensin I to angiotensin II by the ACE enzyme leads to a contraction of the blood vessels, which results in elevated blood pressure. The IPP Tripeptide helps act as a natural inhibitor to ACE.
• IPP (isoleucyl-prolyl-proline)
IPP (isoleucyl-prolyl-proline) is a refined tripeptide that is isolated from hydrolyzed milk proteins. It is a three amino acid peptide with the sequence isoleucine-proline-proline. The total IPP found in the Your BP Nutrients™ IPP complex is 5 mg. The remainder of the IPP complex is hydrolyzed milk proteins, largely from casein. This peptide interacts with Angiotensin Converting Enzyme (ACE), which helps support normal blood pressure.
• Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate
Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate (Arginine AKG) is used to supply Arginine, an amino acid that helps supports nitric oxide levels.
• Cinnamon Bark Extract
The final ingredient in Your BP Nutrients™ is a water-soluble cinnamon bark extract. Original studies of cinnamon extracts centered on supporting normal glucose levels.
